Saw Lily Allen in concert the other night. It was pretty spectacular. First row :)
I'm really digging Natalie Portman's Shaved Head now, too. They opened for her.
I'm sick. :( I think it's cause I stood out in the rain for about an hour or so, and then was wet and gross inside during the concert, and then got more wet outside after the concert was over. Or I could blame my boss. He was sick with a cold last week, and I played 4 shows standing next to him. He could've passed it along to me and then the cold could've waited until now to infest me with disease.
In other news....my brother is engaged. I'm really excited about that, because his fiance is awesome, and I'm so glad she's going to be joining our family. And I love seeing my brother happy.
Now I just need to find happiness, and we'll all be set.
I'm going to bed. Gotta get up early tomorrow morning.

v is very very extraordinary
A is for age: 22, going to be 23 next month.
B is for booze of choice: anything with malibu in it. currently malibu and coke or malibu bay breezes are the drink of choice.
C is for career: off off broadway musician? oh wait, I am. ummm at this point, anything that makes me happy is what I'm striving for.
D is for your last dentist appointment: sometime in august 2008 probably.
E is for essential items you use everyday: blackberry. I should probably just call it my crackberry because I use it all the time, it's always with me....addicted much?
F is for favorite song at the moment: um, liz and I have been on a boyband kick lately (throwback I know) and I'm really diggin' new kids on the block again. my favorite nkotb song is "step by step." but in real time, I'm going with coldplay's "viva la vida" and "kind of a girl" by tinted windows.
G is for favorite games: on the blackberry: bejeweled, chuzzle, and tetris. I'm also very into Poppit! and scrabble lately.
H is for hometown: astoria in the hizzouse.
I is for instruments you play: guitar, piano, fife, ukulele, an assortment of percussion instruments, and the vocal chords.
J is for jam flavor on your PBJ: preferably none, thanks.
K is for kids you last saw: some random kids walking down the street.
L is for last kiss: ......
M is for fondest memory: I have a lot of those. I'm going to be sentimental and say hanging out with Opa in the basement many times. I would come home from school and go downstairs and watch him work, build cabinets, use his tools, etc. To this day, the smell of freshly sanded wood is one of my favorite smells and it reminds me of him. I went down to his work bench the other day, and it was completely clean...which was so rare. It was always a mess down there, and that's Opa. (p.s. marielle.....prep rock show junior year....was that the year where the picture of you and me is from? or was in college at that point?)
N is for name of your crush: ehhh...I guess I really don't have a "crush" right now. there is this one hot guy that I see every tuesday night, but sadly, he's married.
O is for overnight hospital stays: I think I've had 4. my very first one was when I was born, and the other 3 were in the past, when I had asthma attacks as a kid.
P is for phobias: snakes.

R is for biggest regrets: I never told doug I loved him. I mean, I did tell him. but not how I really should've.
S is for status: sleepy. I should really go to bed, because I really need to get up early tomorrow morning and go to work.
T is for time you wake up: um, usually, whenever I feel like it. on the weekends, 6:30/7am because I have to leave the house by 8 for work.
U is for underwear type: whatever covers my butt. I'm sorry but thongs just gross me out.
V is for vegetable you love: sweet potatoes. I looooooove sweet potatoes. I'm into broccoli lately....I eat it on pizza and with beef.
W is for worst habit: biting my nails, tapping/drumming on everything.
X is for x-rays you’ve had: teeth, and chest.
Y is for yummy food you make: cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, some sort of cinnabon streusel cupcake concoction. I really want to make lasagna soon.
Z is for last Zoo visited: I think it was the Bronx Zoo a few years ago.
